Alexander Brothers Appear in Miami Court on Sex Trafficking Charges

(Miami, FL) -- Miami real estate tycoons Tal and Oren Alexander arrested by the FBI yesterday on federal sex trafficking charges appeared in Miami bond court this morning facing several state charges. Miami-Dade bond court Judge Mindy Glazer denying bond on at least one charge for both.

“Often, the Alexander brothers drugged their victims before assaulting them, preventing them from fighting back or escaping,” the indictment said. Many of the sexual assaults involved “multiple men,” court papers state.

Oren's pregnant wife is about to give birth and asked the judge for permission to visit her in the hospital.

Federal prosecutors in New York accusing Tal, Oren, and their brother Alon Alexander of drugging, assaulting and exploiting dozens of women for over a decade.

Investigators believe that many of the women were drugged with the sedative GHB, which is known as the “date rape” drug, according to court documents.

The Alexanders' cousin Ohad Fisherman is also accused of participating in a gang rape and is still on the run.
