Former Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck looked poised in the pocket playing in his first NFL preseason game for the Arizona Cardinals Thursday.
Arizona gave the third-round rookie an early chance to prove himself during the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame game and he delivered an excellent showing in his debut.
Beck threw for one touchdown lofting the ball with perfect touch to give Simi Fehoko a chance to elevate and make the catch near the back corner of the end-zone.
Despite the score, the Panthers took down the Cardinals 33-30.
Beck finished with 188 yards (15/19 - 78.9%), no interceptions, and was sacked once.
Week one of the preseason kicks off next week with the Miami Dolphins at the Washington Commanders on Friday, August 14th.
