Bruce Springsteen released a third song from Tracks II: The Lost Albums. "Faithless" was the title track to an unreleased album that was recorded between the end of the Devils & Dust tour in 2005 and We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions in 2006.
"This was a really unusual collection of songs," Springsteen said. "You could recognize details and maybe a character or two. But for the most part, I just wrote atmospheric music that I thought would fit."
Last Friday Bruce Springsteen released "Blind Spot" from his upcoming box set, Tracks II: The Lost Albums, And now he's waxing nostalgic with the video that comes with the song, that will be the first released off the album,
"That was just the theme that I locked in on at that moment," he said. "I don’t really know why. Patti and I, we were having a great time in California. But sometimes, if you lock into one song you like, then you follow that thread. I had 'Blind Spot,' and I followed that thread through the rest of the record."
Springsteen first released "Rain In The River", as the lead single to his archives for his new box set called Tracks II: The Lost Albums!
The box set comes with seven unreleased LPs recorded between 1983 through 2018, with more than 80 songs are will be released on June 27, as the albums run from LA Garage Sessions '83, to the recent Perfect World.
"The Lost Albums were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released," Springsteen said. "I've played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I'm glad you’ll get a chance to finally hear them. I hope you enjoy them."
