At a Virginia liquor store a drunk raccoon was found passed out in the bathroom.
Yup! Only in America.
Hanover County Animal Protection and Shelter authorities were called in to deal with the "masked bandit" unconscious on the bathroom floor of an Ashland ABC Store. The raccoon apparently ransacked shelves and drank multiple types of alcohol, which led to his being taken back to a shelter to sober up before releasing him into the wild.
"After a few hours of sleep and zero signs of injury (other than maybe a hangover and poor life choices), he was safely released back to the wild, hopefully having learned that breaking and entering is not the answer," A statement read.
